CATERING:
How many tacos does a pan hold?
Full pans make 80 Tacos, half pans make 40 and quarter pans make 20 Tacos.
What’s included with the tacos?
All taco pans include the following: Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Cilantro, Queso Fresco, Chile Arbol Salsa, Tomatillo Salsa, Jalapeño Avocado Salsa and Corn Tortillas
Are Stands and Chafing fuel included?
They are not automatically included but they can be purchased for $12 each. We recommend 1 stand for every full pan of food.
Do the Tacos come pre assembled?
No, all our our taco bars and taco pans are make your own. All toppings, tortillas and proteins are served in their individual pans.
Are chips and Salsa included with my order?
Chips and salsa are not included, but can be ordered and paid for as a side.
Are any of the of your items gluten free?
Practically everything on our menu is gluten free! All our taco bars come standard with corn tortillas. Unless you request flour (Not gluten free). The churros are the only non gluten free item on the menu.
Do you have anything for vegans?
All our veggie tacos are also vegan. Along with the poblano rice, beans, chips, salsa and guacamole.
FOOD TRUCK:
Do you offer unlimited tacos?
We currently do not offer an "Unlimited" Package as we consider them to be a scam to charge the customer more. As a caterer we have a deep understanding of how much food an event actually needs and will work with you to find the right package for your group / event.
How far in advance do I have to book?
Our lead time for a truck event is 24 hours minimum although summer and spring weekends will typically be booked a few weeks in advace. However, if your time is flexible we can always get you in there!
How many tacos does each person get?
Customer is responsible for selecting the average quantity (2,3,4,5+) of tacos per person for their particular event
What does this mean?
For most events this means we will serve "Unlimited" style. People can order as many tacos and sides they want and come up to the truck as many times as they want until we finish all the food. We can also give everyone the same plate of 2,3,4,5 + Tacos (with everyone selecting their own tacos and toppings) and sides you've preselected. We will make a service recommendation based on your budget and the package and proteins you select.
Does everyone get the same tacos?
We let people choose the tacos off the menu you've selected. People can choose whatever tacos they want along with whatever toppings and salsas they want.
How do I know if I've ordered enough?
We will work with you you have the proper amount of food for your event.
Can we keep any leftovers?
Yes, at the end of your event, if you request it, we will package up all food leftover from your event in aluminum foil pans.
When do I need to pay my balance?
For all catered events payment is due before drop off. For all staffed or Food Truck events payment is due 7 days prior.
What happens if there is bad weather?
We can setup indoors with electric flat tops, steam tables and additional equipment.
How far in advance can I order?
Our lead time is only 12 hours. But the earlier you book the better as we do close off ordering once we hit our max output. I always say, as early as possible!
What is you cancelation policy?
Catering Events – Special Events or Truck/Cart Events
(a) If Agreement is terminated within thirty (30) days of the event, Caterer shall be entitled to retain twenty-five percent (25%) of deposit and seek any additional expenditures to date, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, and rentals.
(b) If Agreement is terminated within fourteen (14) days of the event Caterer shall be entitled to retain any deposit paid and seek any additional losses including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, and rentals.
(c) If an Agreement is drawn within five (5) days of the event, Client agrees to pay full event costs per bid
Should the event be cancelled by Caterer, Caterer will fully refund any deposit within ten (10) days of the date of cancellation.
(d) Cancelation fees may be waived at the caterers discretion if event can be re-scheduled pending Jarabe Inc's availability.
